YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING MICROPHONE TO PLAY THIS GAME
The monsters in the dark listen to you. Silence is your armor. Your voice is the key.
You are locked inside a small testing room. Your only job is to solve standard CAPTCHA tests by speaking into your microphone. Tell the machine where the fire hydrants and crosswalks are to prove you are human.
But as you speak, the computer begins to glitch and break. The standard tests change into creepy Backrooms images and scary psychological questions. The game slowly turns into a claustrophobic survival horror.
When the room goes completely dark, a tall entity will appear near you. It listens to your real-world sounds. If you scream, make a loud noise, or breathe heavily, you die.
Your choices, your talking speed, and your silence will change the story. There are 3 UNIQUE ENDINGS.
- Voice-Controlled Gameplay: No typing allowed. You must read security codes and answers out loud into your microphone.
- Real Silence Mechanics: The monsters react to real-world sounds. You must hold your breath when they get close.
- Analog Horror Experience: Authentic retro CRT screen effects, sudden glitches, and immersive 3D audio design.

Ur not getting enough hate, indie games should be passion projects and shouldn't use ai slop. If you made a great meal but didn't know how to season it, it would be better to lear how to do it and do it poorly then to just shit on it

Sorry you're getting all this hate just for a few AI images. It was a nice concept and had good atmosphere. The mic feature wasn't 100% accurate and didn't feel like it brought too much to the game but still enjoyable. Just don't let all these negative people push you not to make games anymore.

Scariest thing is when you have to say "Center Right" a thousand times. Truly the most frustrating game, couldn't finish it.
What's the story behind your username?
Since I didn’t know how to use Photoshop when making this game, I only used AI to generate the images. In the comments, many people said that I used AI for the coding as well and created a game that was entirely AI-generated, but that’s not true. I created this game entirely on my own, using my own knowledge and experience. You can see this for yourself by checking out my previous games.

Problems:
It's so hard to make out what's on the screen and I had elements that clip in and out in front of it too. When I'm looking down at a specific angle, or up at a specific angle, it disappears.
(And are there supposed to be a bunch of elements that clip in and out of existence depending on where you look? Because it's not just in front of the screen.)
I can't get past the second test.
Also, 70% of the time the mic commands don't work at all, and around 10% of the time that they do work, they do the wrong thing.
And I tested my mic before entering the game. Maybe it was the in-game calibration? The UI for the calibration needs some work.

The microphone feature does not work at ALL! Should just made a click thing instead, cause it takes 10 years just to get past one test. Dont waste time on this.

The section about "impossible" architecture made no sense. It got to the point that I looked up the solution and the solution makes zero sense. Even before that the second crosswalk one didnt make sense either, the upper left had a clearly visible crosswalk on it but apparently it doesnt... for some reason. So maybe working those out to make more sense would make it better. One other thing I can suggest is put something next to the checkmarks in each box to remind players of the commands UL UC UR CL M CR LR LC LR for example. I think thatd help a lot.
It might be me but the mic was working iffy, So I ended up chocking my viewers...
The game keeps crashing for me, even as administrator. And it's not clear what to do on the first screen with buttons 1 and 2. I couldn't get past the first voice recognition event. It looks interesting but unfortunately I can't play it. I'd appreciate it if you can look into this.
my ONLY issue was that it took me a million bajillion times for it to understand what i was saying😭😭other than that.. GOOD concept and GOOD game

Tagged as No generative AI was used, but the captcha screens have a gemini watermark, which can be seen in the 4th image on this page. Consider updating the tag or removing the generated images. Was a really cool experience either way. Haven't seen a game utilize the microphone quite like this.
games have used the microphone like that for over 2 decades... it never takes off because it never works well

tried for 2 hours to record this when i finally set it up, the game barley responded to my voice literally caught a headache trying to get the game to redspond :/

What a awesome concept this was! Only issues I encountered was the game crashing and the voice recognition being spotty on certain things. Aside from that I see potential from this for sure! Amazing idea! Made a video on it.

Wish the game didnt rely on the CRT filter as much, its hard to make out most pictures with it and I had to guess most of the combinations. It also sucks that majority of the game seems like its AI generated 👎
